Behind every smooth closing is someone making sure nothing falls through the cracks. I'm Karla Doolittle, Executive Assistant and Loan Processor at North Star Mortgage Network — and I've been keeping our clients' loans on track since 2004.

Born in New Jersey and raised right here in Jacksonville, I spent 13 years as an office manager before joining North Star more than two decades ago as a senior processor. Today I work alongside our founder Nathan Young and our entire Loan Officer team — coordinating operations, moving files through processing and underwriting, and keeping clients informed at every milestone. If you've ever wondered who actually keeps a mortgage on schedule, that's my job, and I love it.

When I'm not at work, you'll find me spending time with family and friends.
