Nathan Young Named 2026 NAMB Influencer of the Year
The National Association of Mortgage Brokers announced its 2026 Excellence Award winners on September 21, and Nathan Young, founder of North Star Mortgage Network, Inc., was named 2026 NAMB Influencer of the Year, one of eight people recognized in that category nationally.

It follows Nathan’s recognition as a 2025 NAMB Mortgage Broker of the Year. North Star Mortgage Network is also listed #1 on Three Best Rated’s Jacksonville mortgage companies list, is a BBB Accredited Business with an A+ rating, and has hundreds of 5-star Google reviews.
What the award is, and what it isn’t
NAMB is the national trade association for mortgage brokers. Its Influencer of the Year recognition goes to brokers who have put work into the profession itself: teaching, advocacy, and raising the standard of how independent brokers serve their clients.
It is not a rate award, and it says nothing about any individual loan. What it does say is that the people who do this work for a living think the approach here is worth pointing at.
Why it matters to a borrower in Jacksonville
On its own, not much. An award does not close a loan.
